Opening Design for McDonald’s.
This opening design for McDonald’s, created in Barranquilla, Colombia, is deeply inspired by the vibrant Carnival of Barranquilla. Capturing the festive and colorful essence of the event, the design incorporates iconic carnival elements such as exuberant masks, striking costumes, and traditional motifs. This combination not only celebrates the local culture but also creates a visually impactful and memorable experience for customers. The unique approach not only highlights the spirit of the carnival but also aligns the opening with Barranquilla’s cultural identity.

A Look Towards Change:
The visual design uses elements that represent the challenges faced by rural, Indigenous, and Afro-descendant communities, while calling for urgent action to promote equality and justice. The textures and shapes help create an emotional connection with the audience, encouraging understanding and involvement.
My graphic work supports the campaign’s message and serves as a tool for reflection and empowerment, highlighting the importance of building a more equitable future for everyone in Colombia.
